Turning Raw Material into Final Products
The different industries are increasingly aware of environmental issues. It is already common knowledge how recycling and reusing materials helps to preserve our ecosystem.
Much is known about methods of recycling implementation in bottles, bags, shoe soles, etc… but we must dream big and execute in concrete.
That is why in Textil In we implemented this philosophy many years ago, always supporting the environment and investigating new ways to make fabrics in a sustainable way. As our motto turned into a mantra “The most sustainable fabric is the one that already exists”
Today, with much pride, we want to show you this article that we call TIROL. After many years of research and waiting we have managed to apply this type of material to leather goods.
Now we want to go a little deeper and explain you where all this comes from.
First, let’s understand what a raw material is. The term “raw material” is used to indicate that the material is in an unprocessed or minimally processed state, a primary product, is a basic material that is used to produce goods, finished products, energy or intermediate materials that are raw materials for future finished products.

The cycle of manufacturing processes that turn materials into parts and products begins immediately after the raw materials are extracted or produced from basic chemicals or natural substances.
The processes used to convert raw materials into finished products fulfill one or both of the main functions: first, they give the material the desired shape; second, they alter or improve the material’s properties.
TIROL is an alpine herb precisely from Tyrol, it has a natural aroma and is cut by hand and processed with a lot of love and dedication. They have a light laminate (HPL) to which we have added a base to give it more flexibility and to be able to adapt it to leather goods.
The research process is never finished, it is a cyclical state where we must immerse ourselves and always look for alternatives, not only to become more sustainable, but more creative, artistic and offer differences within a world where originality is valued on the stock market.
